My name is Jayprakash Gautam. I completed my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Raipur in 2023 under the SC quota. After graduation, I got placed at Vedanta BALCO, Korba, Chhattisgarh, where I worked as a Mechanical Field Operator for nearly one year. During my tenure at BALCO, I faced extreme work pressure and exploitation by a senior manager. Because of continuous stress and overwork, my physical health deteriorated, and my mental health problems worsened. I also felt that there was no proper career growth, so I decided to resign from BALCO and focus on preparing for the GATE examination. At the same time, my college roommate Prakhar cleared GATE with AIR 71, completed M.Tech from IIT Bombay, and later got placed in Indian Oil with a ₹22 LPA package. Some of my other friends also joined IITs for M.Tech. Comparing my situation with theirs made me feel deeply frustrated and demoralized. Unfortunately, I failed GATE 2025. Later, I cleared the SBI Clerk examination, scored 68 sc quota marks, and joined as an SBI Clerk in Korba, pali Chhattisgarh. For the past 10 years, I have been suffering from major depression and schizophrenia, along with GERD and severe acid reflux taking pantoprazole 20 mg for it. While working in SBI, I face constant cross-selling pressure from management for SBI General Insurance, SBI Mutual Fund, YONO digital products, and government schemes, which has significantly worsened my mental condition. Now I will resign from from SBI CLERK Job. I am currently under treatment from Dr. Pramod Gupta, Psychiatrist, in Durg. He has prescribed Olanzapine 5 mg, Fluoxetine 10 mg, and Valproate 250 mg for my symptoms, especially negative symptoms and mood swings. Despite treatment, my mood swings remain severe, and my life has become extremely difficult. I am feeling suicidal now help me please…
